During spring break, I mostly just played Overwatch at home. Up until Tuesday, I was on a really great winning streak and achieved my career high of 2350 SR, but after that, I went on a giant losing streak and took a nosedive straight down to 1860 SR.
Today was the first day back from spring break, so it was a bit of a struggle to adapt to waking up early again. During 5th period, we had a presentation on what happened during the Ventura regionals right before spring break. After school, I went to CalTech from 7:30 to 9:30 for HEMA. During the part where we were learning techniques, I learned how to use the Zornhau, or Wrath Cut, and during the last 30 minutes, we were sparring.
Today, Keilah and I went to OSH during lunch and bought some steel wire brushes to clean his gun. Unfortunately, by the time we got out of OSH, it was too late for us to but lunch, so we just headed back to Dr. Neat's room. I was thirsty, so I went to buy a water bottle from the shop,but I saw a quart of milk that Keilah, Connor, and I had bought before spring break. Keilah and I notced that it was going to expire tommorow, so we just drank that for our lunch. He had only a single cup because he hought that it might have already expired, but I didn;t notice anything wrong with the taste, and just drank the rest of the milk on my own. During class, we had a Wednsdaty Challenge where we had to decide whether we would take our current math class or write out the numbers 1 to 1,000,000 for a garunteed A, and defend our choice. I knew that we had done this Wednesday Challenge in the past, so I went to my website and looked at my posts from last year, but when I clicked on the Wednesday Challenge link, All I got was a basicallyl empty sheet that read that I had been the judge for that particular Wednsday Challenge. As a result, we just realy quickly got the challenge done and wrote everything down to make it look pretty. WIth regards to the milk, unfortunately, I think that the milk wsa expired after all, as during 6th period, I had a stomachache, and I had to go to the bathroom.
Wednesday Challenge 10: Math vs. NumbersToday, I printed a 100 page pdf in the library for my Design project, which is a roughly 30" cardboard and paper mache model of the Terran Battlecruiser from Starcraft II. During 5th period, we finished giving our presentations on the Wednesday Challenge. Afterwards, the people that needed help on their websites went to the shop and worked on their websites. I started working on my cardboard longboard blank again, but while I was dumpster diving for cardboard, I noticed that there was a ton of wood in the dumpsters that was still in pretty good condition. I told Dr. Neato and Mr. Miller, and then Erin and I reclaimed a bunch of wood.
Today was the day of the Orange County FRC Refgionals, so a lot of people were not here. During the period, Erin and I tried to get the livestream to the competition up and running, but by the time we had gotten it working, we had just missed our match. After school, my mom took myself and my little brothers to Michaels, and I bought a boatload of Aleene's tacky glue that was on sale, and also a really cool cordless hot glue gun that had removable nozzles.
